Jesus Samson Gubuan
Born: December 25, 1938
Died: May 4, 2003

We lost our good friend and brother, Jesus Gubuan, to cancer yesterday morning after his long fight with it for years.

Tut, as I have fondly called him since we became friends way back in our youth in the island, will be remembered for his wit and folksy humor. Walay arte!

He was the quiet but steady member and supporter of GASA. In many isla fiestas and gatherings, he was always there to contribute his delicious dinugoan, humba and inun-onan! He always seemed happy to do it and wore that "happy-to-see-you" twinkle in his eyes!
