Salary Schedule of Philippine Government Employees
By Rene Rocamora

Do you ever wonder how much your neighbor makes? They’re both government employees, yet they own a nice house, a sedan and send their kids to private school? You know they don’t have any other outside income. She works as a Postal Teller but her husband works at the Bureau of Customs? You get the drift? You’re not alone, I was always curious how much some of these public servants make.

The table below shows the salary schedule for government employees effective July 1, 2001. With the exception of the president, each position pays a range of salaries from Step 1 being the entry-level amount to Step 8 as the highest amount a particular position can get. The table only shows Step 1 and Step 8 for comparison purposes. The listings are not in any particular order. If you are interested in obtaining the whole list, I would be glad provide it to you.
